About Us

Our Story

Owners, Michael Malinowski and Robert Lucky, teamed up in 2010 after working for large law firms, to start their own firm. Michael and Robert decided they wanted to take what they learned at the larger firms and apply that in a smaller, more personal way. A few years later, after growing the firm at a substantial rate, the two decided to branch out into real estate closings (settlements). They wanted to bring their personal, client based style to the real estate world. They now lead a well organized, responsive, knowledgable team that excels at customer service and a faster more efficient closing process.

Michael T. Malinowski, Jr.

Michael was born and raised in New Orleans and graduated from Jesuit High School.  He obtained his undergraduate degree from LSU.  Michael began practicing personal injury law and representing injured people soon after graduating from LSU's Paul M. Hebert Law Center in 2003. He worked for  a few large personal injury firms before deciding to strike out on his own. In 2010, Michael and Robert  formed The Lucky Law Firm, PLC.  A few years later the two opened MidCity Title, LLC to provide the same customer centered services that help the law firm be successful.

Michael is a diehard LSU and New Orleans Saints fan.  In addition to football, he enjoys golfing and fishing.

Robert M. Lucky

Robert was born and raised in the small town of Greensboro, Alabama. During his undergraduate career, he began working in the legal field as a paralegal primarily in the fields of criminal and family law. Robert moved to Baton Rouge to attend law school at LSU's Paul M. Hebert Law Center.  While at LSU, he earned a position on the law center's Moot Court Board based on his excellent writing and persuasive arguing skills. He also participated in numerous activities and courses that later would help him when challenging and fighting large insurance companies for his clients. Following graduation in 2002, Robert began his career fighting for those who had been injured at the fault of another and who deserved just compensation for their damages.  Today, Robert represents his clients just as zealously as he did when he began his career.

Robert is an avid fan of college football and of the New Orleans Saints. He currently serves on the board of directors for the A. C. Lewis YMCA.
